Hot Stamp Coders
Hot Stamp Coders are also known as Hot Foil
Printers. Hot stamp coders work by pressing hot metal type into a dry
hot foil tape that then transfers the ribbon pigment onto the label.
Most of our hot stamp coders work with air pressure, however our
ADL-HSC is run electrically with a small motor.
Hot stamp coders are normally only used for
expiration dates and/or lot or batch codes. If you have need for more
variable information such as barcodes or serialized codes we recommend
thermal transfer
Barcode
Printers. Barcode printers are also available for
integration with you labeler.
To change a code or expiration date on a hot stamp
coder involves physically changing type characters or slugs. But with
practice, this is really a pretty simple operation
